I've managed to grab an hour or so to sort out my page and thought I should introduce myself!   I am Alison from the Wirral, UK (just across the water from Liverpool) and am 30 years old.  I spend my days stuck in a hideous office working away for peanuts and spend my free time painting.

I have (finally) managed to upload an avatar!  Taken weeks to get round to doing that.  Also started listing some of my art work for the world to see!  I have only recently started painting again after a long break........

I studied art at college and then university and graduated hating it!  Being forced to produce work that your tutors rated but, you didn't felt like a waste of my time.   I only got my paint brushes out again to make some miniature paintings to go onto greetings cards........

Then in january this year I painted a card for my Dads birthday and I thought 'that's not bad'  and since then I have been slowly experimenting and finding my feet again!

I have been introduced to Deviant Art by some of my fellow etsy sellers and am just finding my way around.  So, bare with me whilst I figure out what the hell I'm doing!
